
How to find us:
Tuckamore Lodge is located 2.2 kms from the village of Main Brook and a twenty-minute drive from the St. Anthony airport. Flights from Boston, New York, Toronto, Montreal, and Halifax can be arranged by your travel agent or by Tuckamore Lodge staff. Ground transportation to and from the airport is included in the weekly rate.

If you wish to drive, Marine Atlantic provides year-round vehicle and passenger ferry service between North Sydney, Nova Scotia and Port aux Basques, Newfoundland. Ferry reservations are required. Upon arrival in Newfoundland, take the Trans Canada Highway to Deer Lake. Follow Route 430 (the Viking Trail) to Route 432 to Tuckamore Lodge. The approximate travel time from Port aux Basques to Tuckamore Lodge is 6-7 hours.

From the St. Anthony Airport, there is a twenty minute drive to Tuckamore Lodge. From the Deer Lake Airport, there is a four hour drive to Tuckamore Lodge. This drive takes you through the scenic Gros Morne National Park.
Provincial Airlines flies each day from St. John's - St. Anthony; Monday - Friday (3 times per day) and on Saturday & Sunday - once a day, usually in the afternoon. This airline flies from Deer Lake to St. Anthony on Saturday, this is the only day of the week that this happens. Special Rates have been arranged with this airline from St. John's - St. Anthony.
Air Labrador flies each day from St. John's - St. Anthony in the morning, but does not fly this schedule on Saturday (this day is the only exception). We have a rate arranged from St. John's to St. Anthony. Mention that you are flying to Tuckamore Lodge Ltd. and Quote CORE#1069 MS-1209.
The flight from St. John's to St. Anthony is approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Firearms:
Hunting rilfes and shotguns are accepted as checked baggage only, and must be unloaded. The firearm must be inhibited from being fired by using a secure, locking device mechanism on the weapon.The Firearm must be packaged in a specially designed, non-see through case that cannot be easily broken into during transport. Before Air Canada accepts the firearm you must sign a declaration form attesting that the gun is unloaded as well as a limited release form.
Ammunition:
Ammunition is only accepted in checked baggage and must be packaged seperately from the firearm. Ammunition allowance is limited to 5 kg (11LB) per passenger. Only shells or cartridges are acceptable types of ammunition. Gunpowder and gunpowder pellets are strictly prohibited. Ammunition must be packed securely in a strong container of wood, metal or fiberboard, plainly marked "ammunition" or in the original inner carton. To avoid shock movement, the carton must be placed inside a suitcase and cushioned with clothing.
Restricted firearms such as handguns require government documentation for transport. Consult the Canadian Firearm Center and/or Canada Customs for complete details.
