Day 1: Arrival Evening
Met at Deer Lake Airport by our driver and taken to Deer Lake Motel or Driftwood Inn where you will meet your guides and be briefed on your adventure and pick up your sleds for tomorrow?s adventure.
Day 2: Scenery Unlimited
Ride by snowmobile through Gros Morne National Park, UNESCO World Heritage Site. This puts it in a class with the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone National Park. Dramatic mountains and inland fjords. Ride its valleys, gorges and mountains to Eagle Mountain Lodge at Main River.
Day 3: Great Harbour Deep
Ride through a most special place so diverse in its scenery, so distinguished in its geology, The Long Range Mountains (part of the Appalachian Trail). The scenery on a beautiful day is breathtaking. No wonder the gulch was a favorite hunting ground of the people from Harbour Deep. Stay at Danny Cochrane?s Lodge and hear the acclaimed Danny Cochrane Story.
Day 4: Main Brook
Ride from Harbour Deep over its steep hills, through the Long Range Mountains home of the caribou, moose, arctic fox, arctic hare and tuckamores. Ride the valleys of Cloud Mountain to Main Brook and enjoy an evening of entertainment by Newfoundland Musicians at Tuckamore Lodge.
Day 5: Viking World
Ride to Viking Site and return to Tuckamore Lodge for the night. An early start over groomed trails to L'Anse aux Meadows, North America's only authenticated Norse settlement, where you will enter a different world. Norstead, a Viking Trade Mission village.
Day 6: Straits Area
This is an area that will make you wonder why man decided to carve out a living from such a harsh environment. The Straits area is filled with running ice, covered with seals, huge icebergs, and fishing villages dot the coastline. An extreme environment with kind, caring people who have a dialect all their own. Spend the night at the Plum Point Motel.
Day 7: Coastline Riding
Finally a day of relax riding. Stop at Hawkes Bay for lunch and on to Cow Head, a community that lies in the Gros Morne National Park. If weather permits your relax ride will become one of mountain riding and lots of fun / Endurance Riding. Stay at Shallow Bay Motel to relax and reminisce.
Day 8: Ride to the Gorge ? Western Brook Pond
Over the Hills into one of the most beautiful areas of the Northern Peninsula / Western Brook Gorge. Skill and Endurance is the recipe of the day. On to Deer Lake the final leg of the journey, overnight at Deer Lake and return your sleds.

Day 5:
Ride to Viking Site and return to Tuckamore Lodge for the night.
Day 6:
Early start over the White Hills offers you the opportunity to watch seals lying by their blow holes or you can also expect an encounter with a polar bear while you enjoy the thrill of riding on the Arctic ice. This tour offers an amazing opportunity to contrast the wildlife of the Northern Region with that of the scenic Southern Parkland. Ride to Lock's Cove and Ireland Bight, hear the story of how our famous Dr. Grenfell spent time on the ice flows trying to save a young boy's life and had to take the life of his favorite dogs to survive; and of the heroic men that risked their lives to save him.
Day 7:
Spent the night at our remote lodge in White's Arm Pond. Local storytelling by the guides of their adventures. This area is like a slow moving symphony of time, peace and reflections. Few places survive with such environmental integrity and harmony.
Day 8:
Return to Tuckamore Lodge and prepare for your trip back home.
